Students in Ms. Keifer’s 7th grade math class finished up their percent unit by going on a shopping spree! The kids had no budget, but did have many real world applications for using percents. This included finding sales tax, discounts, tip, salesman’s commission for the car they “purchased,” how much interest they were charged on their car loan, and their monthly car payment. This is always a favorite project for 7th graders!
