The Mobile Dentist will be at both the Elementary and High School in May. They not only perform cleanings and x-rays, but some restoration work as well! They accept dental insurance, Medicaid, and grant forms are available if one does not have dental insurance.

This afternoon, students in sixth grade were presented with an oak tree from Mr. Terry Gerhart and Mr. Paul Lilja from the Black Forest Conservation Association. Students learned about the forest ecosystem and taking care of the environment. 🌳
Today 7th grade did a "Figurative Language Tasting." They got a variety of snacks and had to write descriptively about them before they could eat them.
Liam Hunt, a senior at Coudersport High school and member of the Black Forest trap team, has officially signed his commitment to compete for the clay shooting team of Pitt-Bradford, following the home trap match between Black Forest and Otto Eldred.
Liam plans to attend Pitt-Bradford in the fall, where he will pursue a degree in Environmental Studies.

Ms Keifer’s 7th grade class was working on scale drawings this week. Mrs. Batson came down last Friday and talked to the students about how they created the mural downtown by the post office from a drawing by gridding out both the original picture and the side of the building, then drawing in the picture square by square. The students then created their own scale drawing poster from a picture of their choice, using a scale of 1 cm: 1 in.
