It was Pumpkin Day in Kindergarten and we had some wonderful 4th grade helpers! Our students completed many math and science activities with their pumpkins; weighing and comparing themselves and their pumpkins, measuring how tall and how big around their pumpkins were, made predictions and then checked to see if their pumpkin would sink or float, and counted the lines on the pumpkins. Before our 4th grade helpers left, they shared a pumpkin story with our students. It was a great morning!
