The 8th graders used scatterplots to complete a bungee jump project. They collected data through trial jumps of their Barbies or action figures using 2-7 rubber bands and measuring their fall distance for each. They then used a line of best fit to estimate how many rubber bands would be needed to bungee jump their figure off the 180 inch high stairwell, giving the biggest thrill with no injuries. Saige Fox and Kensey Majot had the best jump, with their Barbie falling within 2 inches of the floor!

Thank you to our sixth grade students for assisting with CHOP deliveries. The CHOP program ensures that no child ever goes hungry and is available to all district students.
